Hack Your Hormones With Seed Cycling

What if there was a natural, drug free way to boost fertility, regulate the cycle and reduce PMS symptoms? Well there is, and it’s the mysterious sounding ‘Seed Cycling’…

You might have heard about seed cycling and shelved the idea for ‘maybe some time in the future’. However, it is actually pretty straight forward and I highly recommend you start asap to find out what it can do for your hormones.

We are adding it to our healing repertoire in Thyroid Reboot 2.0 this week, and I wanted to share the basic method here also.

So here’s what you do:

Follicular phase

Days 1 – 14
(or new moon to full moon if not ovulating)

  • Pumpkin seeds 1 tbsp per day
  • Flaxseeds 1 tbsp per day
  • supports healthy oestrogen levels (metabolite clearance)

Luteal phase

Days 15 – 28
(or full moon to new moon if not ovulating)

  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp per day
  • Sunflower seeds 1 tbsp per day
  • Boost in progesterone production and liver support

Easy peasy right?

Just add your seeds to smoothies, porridge, sprinkle on salads, stews and soups.

It’s not a miracle solution but it’s a nice and gentle way to give your hormones a helping hand, at the same time providing extra nutrients and a little protein injection on top.
